Bienenstock Final Project

Here is the finial presentation for the Bienenstock project for 2017, the architecture and design were kept simple to allow the art to capture the eye. The logo changed from earlier design.

Selections for the gallery featured a majority of light colors with the occasional pop of black with the a glimmer of gold. To make the museum different from other I used 2’x2′ busted mirrors with epoxy poured over for the flooring, all white walls have a lacquer  finish to enhance a the experience. Gold makes a large appearance line kitchen where the cabinets have a hammered brass finish.

Residential finishing and furniture selections were similar to what was used in the gallery but also a little more glam can be found in the here. Spot rendering was used to show major materials and  give the viewer an idea about finishes with overwhelmingly doing the whole floorplan. The tagged floor plan be used to relate back to the FF&E.

Tiger Leather

Tiger leather located not far from downtown Greensboro is a local leather company that supplies to companies all over the United States and the world. While we were the there the owner frank walked us through the facility and explained quickly how things work how things work her and also explained the process of how the leather is obtained and the tannery process in Italy. The designer Elliot explained and showed use how he sets up some of the showrooms and explained a little about his job at tiger and how having a designer is extremely important.

21c Art Museum, Hotel and Restaurant

21c located in downtown Durham NC is a hot spot for locals and attracts tourist from all around. On the first floor there is a bar area along with a restaurant, the area where food is cooked an prepared is nestled behind glass a guest can see what is happening with there food at the time. The third floor of the hotel is the main gallery space the art is more technology incorporated than other and most of the of the art work is displayed on a tv screen or a screen. On the other floors of the hotel other floors of the building are the amenities of the hotel and hotel rooms. The pink penguins are a staple of the hotel and can be found through out the hotel, once somebody gives you a penguin you have to carry it around until you pass it to somebody else and they do what you do so on and so fourth.

Synergy Logo and Concept Statement

Synergy is the interaction of multiple agents to produce a combined effect superior than their singular impacts. Synergy is created when the viewer’s eye, is combined with the way art influences your emotions can leave a person feeling moved. Unpretentious bends built the architecture and limited color on the walls enrich the viewer’s experience.
